PROGRAMME QUESTIONS

Led by the South African Department of Telecommunications and Postal Services and in partnership with Deviare, Microsoft, Cisco, Leaders in Motion Academy and Global Entrepreneurship Network, the 4IR Skills Programme provides skills programmes and internships in key 4th Industrial Revolution domains. These areas are covered in more detail below. Courses offered are:

  • Links to the assessment links will be sent to candidates upon completion of the application form. It is important to note that your application will not be considered until you have completed the assessment.
  • If you have completed the application form, and not received an link to the assessment portal, please send an email to interested@4irskills.africa , and a new link will be sent to you.
  • The learner allowance for the 4IR courses is R1 800 per month
  • No, all the courses in the 4IR Skills Programme are full-time
  • No accommodation is offered for any of the courses in this Programme
  • All successful learners will receive an email with contracts attached as well as a link to the submission portal
  • An email will be sent with information on your induction start date and location. You will also receive an SMS once the e-mail has been sent to you.
  • Please be patient as we are evaluating and selecting candidates for the programme. You will be informed of your progress by the end of November 2020.
  • If there is space available in the destination course venue then yes. We can only confirm this once we have received feedback from all candidates that have offers.

The 4IR Skills Programme runs for a period of one (1) year.

Yes. This is a full time only programme, and is only available to learners who are currently unemployed.

There are no fees associated with the applications and assessments for this programme.

No. There are no fees at all associated with the programme.

No. This programme is only available for candidates who have completed their Matric, including Pure Maths.

ASSESSMENT QUESTIONS

Yes. No application will be considered from candidates that have not taken the assessment test.

Different candidates will complete the assessment tests at varying times, but it should not take more than an hour to complete the test.

Yes you can. The tests are all online, and can be completed on your phone, tablet or computer.

Tests results are available immediately, and you will also receive the reports on your email address.
